About the author

As a child in Chicago, Carolyn Feigenbaum knew Lincoln Park well. Later when she lived in Detroit; Boston; Yellow Springs, Ohio; Chevy Chase, Maryland; Dublin, Ireland; and Ankara, Turkey; she walked and relaxed in the parks of those cities. She taught elementary school and English as a Second Language in Ankara and, for many years, taught ESL at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. Living in the Washington, D.C., area with her husband, Kenneth Feigenbaum, she enjoys the environs of Rock Creek Park.

About the Illustrator

Jordan Cutler is a graphic artist living in Washington, D.C. He works on a wide range of graphic arts related projects including: graphic design, web design, and illustration. His work on "Farm Facts" was recognized by the Public Relations Society of America in 2008 with a Bronze Anvil Award. Jordan received his bachelor of arts degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. More of his work can be found at jordancutler.com
